The material is soft but sturdy. Although I think for the weather wear I live, they’ll be suitable for spring and fall, maybe winter with tights underneath, but they’ll be too hot for summer. I’m usually a size S, but I’m glad I sized up in these. normally I struggle to find pants that fit my waist and aren’t too small in the hips. as you can see from the photo, an extra 1cm on the hips would have been better (so the pleats lay flat), but it is absolutely wearable as is. The waist is perfect, I have just enough space to tuck a top in and to accommodate a food belly. Overall highly recommend, you can’t beat the quality for the price.
